KRISTAL is a system reducing bacterial concentration without the use of chemicals.
KRISTAL protects the enviornment from gas, bacterial, chemical and biological contamination, removing air-polluting substances.
KRISTAL combines several air filters with a continuous UV-C germicidal radiation system.

Operating system
The equipment aspires air from the premise where it is located, filters it by means of special filters and finally releases decontaminated air.
The system consists of
• a textile pre-filter to filter out macromolecules;
• an activated charcoal filter to treat gases and odors;
• HEPA 99,999% efficiency absolute filters to remove dust and treat microorganisms including gram+, gram-, fungi, molds and spores;
• a germicidal system consisting of UV-C lamps for the treatment of bacteria and viruses.

Applications
KRISTAL is widely employed in healthcare facilities (e.g. operating rooms, intensive therapy units, quarantine centers, etc.), outpatient clinics (e.g. dental surgeries), clinical laboratories.
It is also used in private and community facilities, e.g. hotels, nursing homes, schools, retail stores.
